Keith Wood – Head Professional & Institute Director
Keith Wood joined Brocket Hall Golf Club in 1992. He has been recognised as one of the “Top 25” Instructors in the U.K. by Golf Monthly magazine. He is Nick Faldo’s personal coach and a National Coach for the England Ladies Golf Association. He coaches a variety of standards from beginners to Tour Professionals. Further expertise includes being a qualified NLP Sports Psychology practitioner.
Simon Garner – Instructor
Simon joined Brocket Hall Golf Club in 2000. He has been a professional since 1988 gaining his full PGA status in 1992. During his career Simon has played on professional tours including the Europro Tour and European Challenge Tour. Since 1996, Simon has returned to his teaching. In 2002 he qualified as a Faldo Institute Certified Instructor. Always wanting to improve the depth and understanding of the game, Simon regularly attends seminars through the PGA CPD programme. In 2007 Simon became a Titleist Performance Institute fitness instructor (http://www.mytpi.com/). Overall, his approach to all of his pupils, whether they are just starting out or a professional, an individual or a corporate group, is holistic - aiming to work with a person's natural ability and adding: golf knowledge, improved technique, physical condition and psychology allowing the pupil to be a better golfer.
Robert Godber – Instructor
Robert has been at Brocket Hall for 10 years. After a good amateur career including a Golf scholarship in America, in 2001 he become a Touring professional for Brocket Hall playing on various tours around the world. He still plays regularly in tournaments, but since 2004 joined the Faldo team to concentrate on coaching and in doing so has helped develop the Faldo Golf Institute Junior Program. Always looking at ways to further his knowledge, in 2007 Robert became a TPI Certified Golf Fitness Instructor. As well as individual tuition, he has also worked with the Middlesex Girls County team and has performed clinics and tuition days for corporate groups such as Lloyds TSB, Goldman Sachs and Siemens.
